This is a complimentary copy of the electronic first edition of Jazz Matters, the new PDX Jazz members’ publication. While this is being distributed exclusively to PDX Jazz members, we decided to share this early, modest version with everyone. The writing by Steven Cantor, Lynn Darroch, Tim DuRoche, Marty Hughley, Kyle O’Brien, and Wayne Thompson is both insightful and provoking, reflecting our goal of Jazz Matters as a forum on news, views & opinions on the state of jazz.
