“A Night of Jazz Vocalese” will feature performances from four vocal pillars in jazz – Madeline Eastman, Rebecca Kilgore, Nancy King, and Jeff Baker – supported by an excellent trio headed by band leader and pianist Randy Porter. This concert will blend the talents of four accomplished, swinging, and spontaneous singers who all have a finely developed individual style. It is a rare opportunity to hear more than one important vocalist in a single concert, but together their formidable collective efforts will most certainly be rare, exciting and memorable. There will be combinations of singers in duo and quartet, as well as individually sharing songs from their vast repertoire; all accompanied by Randy Porter, bassist Tom Wakeling, and drummer Todd Strait. The performance will take place on Thursday, April 18th.
