It depends on the venue, but tickets usually are offered in three different price categories ranging from $20 to $75.
Yes. There are seven different packages available which give you tickets to multiple shows at a discounted price. For a list of our different packages, please refer to the TICKETS tab on our website. Packages are only available for purchase through the Portland Jazz Festival Box Office, which is open Monday through Friday, 10-4.
If tickets are still available, they can be purchased on the day of the show. Ticket prices increase by $10 per ticket day of show.
In addition to our sixteen headlining ticketed shows, there are about 75 free performances showcasing local and regional talent, student ensembles, Jazz Conversations, midnight jam sessions, and numerous educational events. For a full listing of events, please refer to our Festival Schedule.
There are a number of downtown hotels that partner with the Jazz Festival and are within close proximity to the performance venues. Hotels can be booked online through our website, under the Accommodations tab, or at TravelPortland.
This year’s festival is already fully booked, but if you would like to be considered for the 2009 festival, you can send a recent CD and a Press Kit to us and we will begin reviewing talent for next year’s festival in May.
Due to contractual limitations, The Portland Jazz Festival Box Office can only sell Bela Fleck tickets as part of packages. Individual tickets are available directly through the Oregon Symphony Box Office.
Superior, Prime, and Reserved are the names of the different price categories that we sell tickets in. Superior seats are the most expensive seats in each venue and generally are the best seats. However, there are no bad seats in any of our participating venues. If you buy a ticket in any of these price categories, you will have a reserved seat, except for at shows in Crystal Ballroom, where seating is general admission within each price category.
